Ooh, this is just too exciting. Tucked snugly into this Deadline article about the new production and development head at Freckle Films is the name of the screenwriter who's working on the film adaptation of THE MAGICIAN'S LIE! I love this stuff. The movie is a far cry from being in theaters quite yet, but this is an encouraging sign.

(And the adaptation of my friend Camille Pagan's novel LIFE AND OTHER NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES has a screenwriter AND a director! So awesome!)
